Murphy’s Landing Confirmation & Cancellation Policy

Upon your arrival, as agreed in your confirmation, you acknowledge and consent to the following terms:

Property Rights: This property is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and may request any guest to leave the resort if their actions cause a disturbance.

Liability Disclaimer: Murphy’s Landing and Canyon Development Co. Ltd. will not be held responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages to guests, or for any loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. We are not liable for damage or loss caused by natural events or other unforeseen circumstances.

Non-Smoking Policy: All cabins are non-smoking. A minimum $100.00 fee will be charged for any smoking violations.

Pet Policy: Cabin #4 is designated as pet-friendly. Pets are strictly prohibited in all other cabins, with a minimum $100.00 fee applied for any violations. Pets are permitted on the property only in accordance with the guest policy.

Damage & Cleaning: In addition to any other applicable charges, your credit card will be charged a minimum of $50.00 up to $500.00 for damages or excessive cleaning.

Stolen or Damaged Items: Guests are responsible for any stolen or damaged items on the property.

Liability Agreement: My guests and I agree not to hold Murphy’s Landing or Canyon Development Co. Ltd. liable for personal injuries, theft, or damage to personal property incurred while using the property and its facilities.

Payment Authorization: I authorize Murphy’s Landing Resort to charge my credit card for damages, excessive cleaning, pet fees, or unreturned room keys.

Information Use Consent: By providing the requested information, you consent to its use by Murphy’s Landing Resort for the duration of your stay and for any future interactions.

Check-Out Time: Check-out is at 11:30 a.m. for both cabins and RV sites.

Day Visitors: A maximum of six (6) visitors per cabin or RV guest is allowed at any time, subject to approval by resort management. Additional charges may apply. Day visitor parking is designated and specified by the resort. Overnight occupancy at RV sites is limited to six (6) persons.

Lost & Found: Ensure all personal items are taken with you upon departure. If you leave any items behind, please email the office with a detailed list and your mailing address. Items will be shipped COD (Collect on Delivery). Lost items are retained only until the end of the season (November 1st of the current year).
FIRE WOOD – It is mandatory that ONLY our firewood be used. No foreign wood is to be transported onto our property. if you have brought some with you PLEASE leave it INSIDE where you have stored it - due insects/beetles etc. foreign to our area & property.
Cancellation Policy, Requirements & Cabin/Site Policy:
*When paying the total bill a 3% surcharge is applied when paying with your CREDIT CARD.
If you pay the total bill with CASH or EMAIL TRANSFER a 3% is not charged to the final sale
**The Office is closed to the Public and do not offer Debit Card transactions.
NOTE: Check in times are closer to 5:00pm AND MAYBE as early as 3:00pm. The Office is CLOSED – All Arrivals will be sent Instructions VIA EMAIL prior to Check In.
**Specific requests of Cabins & Sites are subsequent to change but will be honored to the best of the reservations ability.
Confirmation Date – DATE OF YOUR REPLY to my Email - You have confirmed this Vacation. Please Read *Exceptions (referring to booking a year in advance and/or Prime Season & Weekly Rentals)
NIGHTLY Spring & Fall Season Cabin & Site Cancellations:
All NIGHTLY (not including Prime Season & All Weekly Rentals) Site & Cabin reservations require minimum 14 days advance notice to cancel your full reservation without fees.
Cancellations within the 14 days are charged the first night and unfilled subsequent nights (base rate) = EXCLUDING mid-June, July, August , mid-September & All Long Weekends....These Months & All monthly &/or prior year reservations are subject to the Weekly Rentals (ALL YEAR ROUND) ~ Cabins & RV quoted below.**

In the event of cancellation, I try very hard to book your full reservation with another interested party and will not charge you the cancellation fees.
** Weekly Rentals (ALL YEAR ROUND) ~ Cabins & RV ; All Rentals during mid-June/July/Aug/mid-September/Long Weekends (as stated in season details https://www.murphyslanding.ca/rates-accommodations) & Monthly Site Cancellations stated Below:
You are obligated to your full reservation until I am able to fill your spot with a solid confirmation.
**In the event that you do cancel during Prime Season/Weekly Rentals and I am able to re-rent your booking, A Reservation Fee will then be taken off your credit card and is non-refundable. Cabin $100/week ~ RV Site 50$/week
**In the event that you do cancel a 'shorter stays' RV or Cabin, during the Prime Season a $50.00 reservation fee will be taken off your credit card and is non-refundable.
All Reservations made a year prior to arrival require your cancellation no later than November 1st of the same year or they will be considered confirmed with no refund available. If I do not hear from you it will be considered reserved without a refund.
All Reservations for the following year can be made anytime up to December 31st of the year prior and will be answered in the order received as early as possible
All Reservations that are made at that time will be considered confirmed with no refund available.
All requests after December 31st will be answered in the order received as early as possible
You may send reservation requests via e-mail at any time (no phone messages please while the Office is closed)
Usual Reservations for the Season can begin anytime and be addressed in the order they were received beginning April/May Opening of the reservation year or earlier.
In the event of cancellation, I try very hard to book your full reservation with another interested party and will not charge you the cancellation fees if I can fill your full reservation however the Reservation Fee will apply.
To cancel your confirmation, please EMAIL info@murphyslanding.ca (if email is not available CALL 250-265-0020)
Within 24 hours of this Confirmation will void this policy.
*All amounts charged will be the rates quoted equally to your reservation
By accepting the confirmation you agree to:
The rate(s) and date of confirmation issued, rates, date of arrival, and departure as noted above.
You further agree that by providing the information, you consent to the use of this information by Murphy’s Landing Resort from this time forward and for use of future check-ins.
You further authorize Murphy’s Landing Resort to charge your credit card for any late fees that may apply by canceling

OFF ROAD Guests must email and/or read instructions on the former Office Door – April/May Opening to November 1st - All Reservation outside of these months require Advance reservations.
November, December, January, February & March – Cabins are rent-able by RESERVATION ONLY
MONTHLY RENTALS in ALL Cabins & RV Sites are available ALL Season
